Ecopla SD Zaku II

Decided to assemble my Ecopla SD Zaku II (purchased at the Gundam Fiesta yesterday):

The runners.

Fully assembled.

Black Zaku is born!!

Zaku comes with 3 weapons: His gun, cannon, and his axe.

His eye can rotate left to right.

Beware my axe!

!!!!!

Comes with “Bandai Hobby Centre Original Marking Seals”. They aren’t pre-cut though…

Articulationwise, being a SD kit, he doesn’t have much articulation. He has shoulder, elbow, wrist, waist, leg, neck (and eye?) articulation, but that’s about all.

As for his black coloring… I would’ve preferred the traditional green and red Zakus, but the black coloring gives Zaku a “Stealth Ops” vibe, which is pretty cool in my opinion. Probably gonna hunt down the green/red SD Zakus and armybuild. XD

That said, I have no idea why the Hobby Centre stickers aren’t pre-cut. And there’s not enough space on the SD Zaku to paste ALL of them lol…

Probably gonna get an Ecopla SD Gundam the next time I head down to the Fiesta. Can’t have a Zaku without a Gundam, can I?

At first I saw the decals on my brother’s GM, I thought they were waterslide decals….. But I knew…. Bandai wouldn’t be that generous.

LOL. I think the Ecopla looks better with less decals though.

nothing seys “stealth Ops” like an axe and a giant red eye! looks really cool, exactly how does the “leg articulation” work? well, AWESOME AS FUDGE gallery! really digging the axe.

Well… it’s hard to describe. The ball joint’s actually mounted under the hip/skirt piece, and the leg’s just a foot…

the pink on black, make the monoeye stands out more and looked more menacing as well. If paired with white or grey decal, it might looked even better.

I agree. Too bad the decals included are the ones for the standard SD Zaku, with the green background.
