SHfiguarts Kamen Rider Decade
You may be Ultimate… But I’ve surpassed ultimate.
SHfiguarts Kamen Rider Decade Violent Emotion is technically a 2nd release of Decade, the 1st one having a weird, inaccurate head. Violent Emotion (seriously, what kinda form name is that?) represents Tsukasa in his “Destroyer of Worlds” mode as seen in Decade: Final Chapter. To put it simply, he goes around killing all the Riders, regardless which world/series/era they’re from. Heck, in the opening scene, he easily kills off Skyrider, Super-1 AND Kabuto. After which he proceeds to kill J, Ryuki, Blade and Kuuga Ultimate Form. Thank goodness he didn’t kill off W (probably since W’s the then-current series).
Anyway, you might be thinking, what’s so different about Violent Emotion form then? Well, in terms of power level, Decade VE’s shown to be a lot more powerful (read: overkill) than his regular form, and he’s able to use other Riders’ Attackrides without Kamenriding into them first. It’s not explicitly stated, but it’s just there for you to notice. Physically, only the head’s different: the Signal Pointer on his forehead is now violet, and his eyes now have a more sinister look.
Now, back to the main topic.
SHfiguarts Decade VE pretty much shares the same body as his predecessor, the regular Decade. He has all the expected SHF-level of articulation, but he shares the same type of groin joint as older releases such as SHF Black, RX, Agito and Kuuga. As such, he’s unable to kick upwards. Then again, it’s not like Decade usually kicks upwards anyway, so I guess that’s fine.
As for the accessories, Decade VE comes with the usual optional hands, a Ridebooker in standard mode, a Ridebooker in Gun mode, and a Ridebooker in Sword mode, along with a new head accurately depicting the regular Decade. The standard mode Ridebooker’s actually able to open up into Book mode, which is a pretty nice touch. As for the new head, it’s far more accurate compared to the 1st release. Thank goodness I didn’t get that 1st release Decade. (That head still irks me. >_<)
Paint-wise, the deco’s very very accurate. The magenta is very close to his on-screen colors, and I like the fact that they made his armor kinda matte-ish. My only gripe is that the green on the eyes are kinda too dark, and the Decadriver lacks the 9 Heisei symbols. Not a big issue though.
Would I recommend him? Definitely. Due to the nature of Decade’s story, he has the most interactivity/playability with all the other SHfiguarts. In addition, the SHF release manages to exude Decade’s attitude/personality pretty well.

Ace gallery my man! i really digg how he looks whith that candy toy kiva bow(?), it just looks more “in scale” then slinging a bow whith the same mass as oneself, bbut then again decade was a pretty strong dude… well this gallery is a clrea 10 pointer…on a ten point scale! (100%WIN) so yea, keep kicking ass and taking names!
Thanks for the compliments!
first one has eyes that are too bright, second one has eyes that are too dark… whats up with Bandai?
Not the first time Bandai makes a weird choice.
agreed! the molds pretty good though
Decade with the Diendriver? What will he be then, Decadend?
Lol, he’ll be half magenta and half cyan. A new Double.
